Seinfeld Teaches the Value of Home Insurance; Don’t Be like Jerry

Seinfeld Teaches the Importance of Home Insurance

KRAMER: Look, Jerry, I’m sorry, I’m uh, you have insurance, right buddy? 

JERRY: No.

KRAMER: [looks shocked] How can you not have insurance?

JERRY: Because… I spent my money on the clapgo D. 29. It’s the most impenetrable lock on the market today… it has only one design flaw: the door…[shuts door] must be CLOSED. 

Here at Insuravita we have one piece of advice… don’t be like Jerry! In this scene from the hit TV show Seinfeld, Jerry has his home broken into and he loses valuable items. His neighbor, Kramer, was responsible for leaving Jerry’s door open, allowing the thieves to get in. Kramer apologizes profusely, but he assumes that Jerry must have insurance. After all, who wouldn’t? Jerry had relied on building security and a new lock he installed. All too often people rely on things that can be broken or broken into to protect their valuable belongings. We purchase nice gifts like jewelry, gaming systems, televisions, tablets, iphones, etc. When choosing your provider and plan, make sure to check your policy for coverage of your personal belongings. Insurers are aware of the items that cost you the most to purchase and protect. Some of your items may cost you extra to protect in your home with locks and safes. Your insurance company has a long list of items that are protected and how much money in reimbursement is available for each of these items. Pay close attention to your policy as you add things to your inventory. In addition, make sure you specify what needs additional protection. Overall, home insurance is absolutely essential to protect you and your belongings at all times.
